Glass-inspiration is a new high quality laminated glass. A special manufacturing process allows the creation of a woven pattern using wood, natural fibre or metal laminated between two sheets of glass.

The process developed by glass-inspiration allows the woven mehs to be fully protected by dust, moisture and temperature changes. Moreover, the glass lends a special brilliance and stability to the embedded woven mesh.
There are no limits to the creative use of glass-inspiration that offers different types of glass and several woven mesh.

The manufacturing process is determined by the desired format, glass thickness and woven mesh. All processes as cutting, milling, grinding, drilling, bevelling, rounding of edges and polishing are possible. Complex sizes can also be manufactured.

Wooden Weave
Wooden mesh (real wood strips 20 mm or 43 mm wide) is made from the finest veneer Variations. Several combinations of wood or strips are possible, thus allowing architects to design creative and personalized solutions.

Natural Fibers Weave
The great variety of different natural fibers and different patterns satisfies all tastes. Depending on the different transmission of light, the woven mesh produces light and shadow effects.

Metal Weave
The great variety of different types of metal and different patterns satisfies all tastes. Depending on the different transmission of light, the woven mesh produces light and shadow effects.

Types of glass: float glass or toughened safety glass
Glass thickness: 2 x 4 mm, 2 x 5 mm, 2 x 6 mm
Steps: 2 x 12 mm, 2 x 19 mm
Maximum length:
- Natural fibres weave: 3,20 m
- Metal weave: 3,20 m
- Wooden weave: 3,00 m
Maximum width: 1,20 m (some weaves can be produced only in a width less than 1,20 m).

Usually the sheets are manufactured exactly in the size required (it might be helpful to send a drawing). Drillings, rounded shapes and elements with part of the glass cut out can be supplied as well. For such forms drawings would be necessary.
